Diagnose
Various sleep diagnosis methods can be used to determine if a patient has sleep apnea. Once suspected of having sleep apnea, the patient will need to undergo a Sleep test to confirm the diagnosis and assessment.
Discuss your sleep complaints and symptoms with your doctor. If a sleep disorder is suspected, you doctor/ therapist will refer you to a certified sleep specialist for evaluation.
An overnight diagnostic sleep study, known as a “polysomnogram”, or PSG, is used to determine the type and severity of the sleep disorder, as well as appropriate treatment.
Alternatively, we provide Home Sleep Study Test Units as a form of second opinion. Our Stardust is a Type II Sleep Study Test unit that is able to determine, to a certain extent, the type and severity of sleep disorder.
